Johannes Taelman is part of the art group code31, headquartered in Brussels. He has a master’s degree in electronics engineering and has worked with many artists. He is currently a teaching assistant in electronics at the Groep T Leuven Engineering School.
Johannes has a love for digital music, sound, video, graphics. He developed Axoloti, an approach for sketching digital audio algorithms with the musical playability of standalone hardware. Johannes’ career has been situated mainly in academic research centers in digital media, and freelance work in the media arts field, with an attempt to keep a horizon on electronics, software, firmware, signal processing.
