In these days of largely solitary music making, we often lack the opportunity to discuss our own music and gather alternative perspectives from other creatives in a safe environment. In this one-hour listening session, hosted by Elysia Crampton, the music of several attendees will be used as the starting point for a group conversation about making music and how we hear each other's work. In addition to leading the discussion, Elysia Crampton will play and reflect on some of her own work.
If you would like your music to be played in this session, please bring on a USB stick, a track that you’ve made and be ready to introduce it to the group. Please note: not every submitted track can be reviewed in this session.
Due to the small group format of these events, studio sessions will require pre-registration. Registrations will take place in October 2016. Each Loop ticket holder will be able to register for one studio session.
