Who is Loop for?

Loop is for music makers: artists, technologists, educators, and creative thinkers of all kinds. It is a gathering of individuals interested in not just observing, but also in participating and joining the conversation around music, technology and creativity.

We believe a healthy music making community is one with a diversity of voices and perspectives. We embrace diversity of gender, genre, age and cultural identity.

We want everyone at Loop to feel safe and welcome at all times. You can read our Code of Conduct, but the short version is: treat everyone with respect.

Tickets

I want to attend. How do I get a ticket?

Because of the limited capacity at Loop, tickets will be allocated via a lottery. Please sign up via the registration page where you will be prompted to answer a few questions about yourself. We will accept applications from anyone involved in making music. We’re not judging your work, but we do want to make sure you’re active in your creative field.

To meet our vision of a healthy and diverse music technology community, we will group applications to ensure a balanced mix of ages and genders.

After the registration period ends, tickets will become available for purchase to those who are allocated a spot in the lottery. If you are offered a ticket, you will be notified by email and will have one week to make your purchase. If you do not do so within this time, your ticket will be allocated to the next person in line.

How much does a ticket cost and what does it include?

There are several ticket price options available. If you would like to purchase a student ticket, you’ll be asked to provide a valid student ID. If you apply for a subsidized ticket, you will be asked to provide additional information about yourself on the registration form.

Yes, you must be 18 or older to attend the event.

Can I refund my ticket?

If you can’t attend the event, you can get a full refund for your ticket until 30 September via our ticketing service.
