Funkhaus Berlin

Loop will take place within the legendary spaces of Funkhaus Berlin. Overlooking the River Spree in the east of the city, the Funkhaus complex has a deep history as the former East Germany's magnificent purpose-built recording and broadcasting campus. Constructed in the 1950s by Bauhaus architect Franz Ehrlich, it hosts the largest studio complex in the world and at its height employed over 3000 staff. Having undergone a period of decline after the fall of the Berlin wall, the Funkhaus has now reestablished itself as a center for creative excellence, and provides the perfect backdrop for Loop 2017.

During Loop we will be partnering with dBs Music Berlin production school and Funkhaus Studios, utilising their professional facilities for a number of workshops, studio sessions and presentations.
