Adam Neely

Adam Neely is a New York City based YouTube personality, bassist and composer with a rapidly growing and engaged fanbase.

The videos on Neely’s YouTube channel have garnered more than 12 million views, and his content, which he has uploaded to the platform over the last decade, blends music theory, history, instructional practice and popular culture into an educational format that has been called “the musical v-Sauce.” His popular gig vlog series also gives viewers a real first-person perspective into the world of the working musician, and his videos have featured on Guitar World, Ultimate Guitar, No Treble, Bass Quarterly and Reddit.

Neely is music director and bassist for the Metropolitan Players, an award-winning events band, and he regularly performs with electro-prog duo Sungazer and numerous other artists on the New York scene, while his compositions for large jazz ensembles have been supported by the Jerome Fund, ASCAP, and the Herb Pomeroy Foundation.
