Manuel Richter is a studio and live musician, and the head of Leipzig based mastering & sound production studio LeafAudio.
RIchter deeply connected to rhythm at a young age from training as a drummer, as well as atmospheric electronic sounds. He worked as a teacher for more than ten years and trained in music therapy and psychotherapy before dedicating himself to his passion for sound. Ten solo releases as Xabec, as well as productions with the electropop duo Underwater Pilots and the experimental audiovisual drone project Silent Walls complemented his life touring as a musician and technical coordinator with Haujobb, Anne Clark, Solitary Experiments and The Flood.
LeafAudio was founded by RIchter in 2009, with the studio primarily being used for mastering, sound design, mixing and recording of speech, vocals and single instruments. RIchter also lectures at SAE Institute, Bayrische Musikakademie and facilitates a workshop series about DIY electronics and synths.
