Ricardo Luna is an Ableton Certified Trainer, performer, producer and composer based in Santiago, Chile.
A classically trained musician, commencing his studies in percussion, and completing a composition major in 2007, Luna's musical productions span chamber music, mixed electronic/acoustic ensembles, electronica and hip hop. His band Tunacola is well established in Chile, and has toured the Americas and Europe extensively, being housed by major festivals like Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound and SXSW.
As a teacher, he works in various institutions and universities in Chile, and has taught all over the country, Argentina and Peru. Through his academy Moonmusic, he's the author of several programs, both technique and creativity oriented, like “Creative Strategies” (Based loosely on Dennis DeSantis book “74 Creative Strategies for Electronic Music Producers”), “Harmony and Theory for Electronic Musicians” and "Randomness" – a tour of random processes in electronic music, also featured as a workshop here at Ableton Loop 2017.
