Christina McGeehan, better known for her stage name RYAT, is a musician based in Los Angeles, California.

McGeehan comes from a world of meditative avant jazz improvisations, classical composition, traditional songwriting, interactive multi-medium performance and installation art, and she composes for film and dance, and releases solo conceptual albums. Her musical chops and production style caught the ear of Flying Lotus in 2012, and he has subsequently released her most experimental compositions through his label, Brainfeeder.

In 2015, McGeehan presented the Interdisciplinary Performance Piece Alt Mode with art director and choreographer Kate Watson-Wallace, including 3D mapping and interactive technology. This performance was presented in Central Park NYC and commissioned by Summer Stage Dance. In 2016, her film score for Tasting The Moon won Best Music Video at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival and Best Short at the Indie Fest USA International Film Festival. McGeehan’s film composer debut featured a live orchestra and was presented by the prestigious Echo Society, a collective of top composers in Los Angeles. She is currently working on her forthcoming RYAT album.
