Stro Elliot

Stro Elliot became the primary alias of Brian Roberson, a rapper/producer alternately known as Stro the 89th Key and simply Stro.

Roberson was a founding member of the Procussions and has released solo material and produced artists including Phonte, Mr. J. Medeiros, Eric Roberson, The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Billboard #1 album, The Hamilton Mixtape. In 2011 Roberson self-released Stro's Old Beat Farm, a collection of instrumentals circa 2004-2010, which was followed by a self-titled 2016 album for House Shoes' Street Corner Music label.

Roberson currently lives in New York. In 2017, he joined The Roots as their newest member on The Tonight Show
