Studio & Listening Sessions

Mastering in Context, with Emily Lazar

Working with the music of two selected attendees, Grammy-nominated engineer Emily Lazar will deconstruct her mastering process in a 90-minute listening and discussion session.

12 participants will have the chance to submit an original track in advance of the session. Lazar will pick two tracks to master, and the session will focus on her process of working on the tracks, referencing the versions before and after her treatment.

Those registered for the session will be notified via Sched to submit their track beforehand, so please have a finished track in mind when you sign up. The two attendees whose tracks are chosen will get to keep the master that Emily Lazar creates.

Places in the session are for ticket holders with Workshop and Studio/Listening Session access. The sessions require prior registration – ticket holders will be notified via email when sign-up opens on October 16th.
