Music Improv Sessions are a fun, friendly and welcoming space for people of all abilities to play together and make music. The sessions put into practice Loop’s vision of music as a social process, in which we listen to, learn from and collaborate with one another to create something none of us could have made alone.
This session will focus on turning the electric guitar into a unique soundsource. You’ll use tools and techniques such as trillers, e-bows, open tunings, effects pedals and more. Because of the experimental nature of the session, attendees are not required to be guitar players.
The session will be run by Novelle, an artist best known for the unique soundscapes she creates with her unconventional guitar-playing techniques.
