New Dates Announced for Loop: April 23–25, 2021

We’re pleased to confirm new dates to replace the postponed 2020 event. Loop Summit for Music Makers will now take place from April 23–25, 2021 in the same venue – Silent Green, Berlin.

Details of our program will be announced in the coming months, but you can expect the event to feel much the same. Our conversations are progressing to confirm as much of our original program as possible. We’re looking forward to the additional time to develop topics, and are excited to share and discuss these ideas with you online before we bring them to the stage in 2021.

2020 ticket holders have two options: roll your ticket over to 2021, or get a refund. You have until August 31, 2020 to decide, but expect an email from us soon with information on how to get your ticket reissued for 2021. You can request a refund at any time via our ticketing partner, Eventbrite.

We’ve created an FAQ below for further information, which always contains the most up-to-date information.

FAQs

Due to the health risks of novel coronavirus and associated disease, Covid-19, the Loop Summit for Music Makers has moved to April 23–25, 2021. On this page you will find answers to the most pressing questions on how this may affect you.

Why is Loop moving to 2021?

We have judged the health risk from Covid-19 to be too great to deliver an event in April 2020.

We are moving to 2021 to allow time for this health risk to subside, but also to give us time to port our event to a new date whilst ensuring the quality of the Loop experience meets our standards and your expectations.

When and where is Loop taking place in 2021?

Loop will take place between April 23 - 25, 2021 in the same venue – Silent Green, Berlin.

Where does this leave 2020 ticket holders?

Your ticket will remain valid for the new event in 2021. If you have a ticket for Loop 2020, you have two options: receive an updated ticket for our new date in April 2021, or receive a refund.

You do not need to make this decision now. You will be able to request a refund up until August 31, 2020, to allow you to decide later in the year when things have calmed down with Covid-19 and we’ve issued further details of the event.

Because of the unprecedented pressure on our ticketing partner, Eventbrite, we need a little more time to issue updated 2021 tickets, expect an email from us soon.

You can claim a refund at any time up until August 31, 2020 via Eventbrite. We will also warn you before this time runs out.

If you want to claim a refund, please follow the steps given by our ticketing service Eventbrite.

What will Loop look like in 2021?

We’re postponing Loop, not canceling it – our venues will remain the same, and we hope to keep partners, artists and speakers on board to deliver the same Loop that we’ve been planning for the last 18 months.

We’ve developed a wonderful program that we’re proud of; we hope to share it with exactly the same audience in April 2021.

Will tickets for 2021 still go on sale for those who don’t have a 2020 ticket?

Definitely. While we hope that as many people as possible carry their tickets over from 2020 to the new date in 2021, we still expect to offer tickets for 2021 using our usual registration process. You can expect communication from us on this in the middle of the year.
