Playtronica is an international studio dedicated to creating meaningful interactive audio experiences, in collaboration with brands, marketers, museums, galleries and artists.

Playtronica’s members have performed and hosted workshops around the world, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

Their two devices, Playtron and TouchMe, break from traditional controller design, replacing buttons and pads with everyday objects such as fruit, soap and clothing, and even incorporate the human body into their interface principles.

At Loop, Playtronica will team up with online sampling and music software resource Splice to create an interactive sound installation. Attendees will interact with a bespoke instrument made of modified turntables, curated samples, color-sensitive sensors and dynamic lighting.
