FAQ

Loop is for music makers: artists, technologists, educators, and creative thinkers of all kinds. It is a gathering of individuals interested in not just observing, but also in participating and joining the conversation around music, technology and creativity.

We believe a healthy music making community is one with a diversity of voices and perspectives. We embrace diversity of gender, genre, age and cultural identity.

We want everyone at Loop to feel safe and welcome at all times. You can read our Code of Conduct, but the short version is: treat everyone with respect.

The following people are eligible to apply for the Student and Youth Pass:

  • Students of any age
  • Individuals between the ages of 18 to 26 years old

Valid student identification or official proof of age will be required at the door.

We are offering 80 Subsidized Passes for individuals who can’t afford the regular Summit Pass. For more information on this Pass category, please read below.

Because of limited capacity at Loop, passes will be allocated via a drawing. Please fill out the registration form to tell us a little bit about yourself. We will accept applications from anyone involved in making music. We’re not judging your work, but we do want to make sure you’re active in your creative field.

If you apply for one of the 80 Subsidized Passes, you will be asked to provide additional information about yourself.

Registration for Subsidized Passes was open from September 17 until October 1. Beginning on October 7, Subsidized Passes will become available for purchase for those who are selected from the survey. If you are offered a slot, you will be notified by email and will have one week to purchase your pass. If you do not purchase your pass within this time, it will be allocated to the next person in line.

Registration for all other Passes is open from September 17 until November 1. After registration is closed, attendees will be randomly selected. Beginning on November 4, tickets will become available for purchase for those who are allocated a spot in the drawing. If you are offered a pass, you will be notified by email and will have one week to purchase it. If you do not purchase your pass within this time, it will be allocated to the next person in line.
